Reprint of local sporting hero's book
A book by a local rugby hero has been reprinted due to popular demand.
Captain of Warrington Wolves rugby team, Adrian Morley, traded the pitch for the pen as he wrote his book, which is an account of his rise to rugby league fame. The book, titled 'Moz: My Story', has been well-received by fans of both the Warrington-based rugby club Wolves and fans of the sport in general.
Morley also received a helping hand from a fellow sportsman, footballer Ryan Giggs, who wrote the foreword for the book.
The book was released in November 2012 and has since proved so popular that it has sold out and a reprint has been arranged due to popular demand. The new copies of the book were made available just in time for Christmas thanks to the speedy response of the book printing company.
Warrington Wolves club shop, Wolfware, is selling copies of the book and it is also available directly from the publisher. The author also made a public appearance at the local Warrington Waterstones in Golden Square to sign copies of the book in the run up to Christmas.
The autobiography was recently named as one of the Guardian's 'Super league set of six', which is a group of six books by or about rugby league players that promise to make for entertaining reading for sports fans. Adrian Morley's book appeared in the Guardian-complied list alongside books written by legendary Warrington player Jack Fish and ex-Wakefield winger John Kear.
