Warrington venue to host Scottish-themed supper

An event celebrating Scotland’s beloved bard is being held at a civic centre in Warrington in 2026.

The 141st Mayor of Warrington, Councillor Mo Hussain, will be hosting a special event that remembers the life and poetry of Robert Burns. The Burns Night Supper with the Mayor is open to all, with tickets available for only £35 per guest. It features all the trimmings and traditions of the annual occasion like the address to the haggis, the parade of the haggis and a toast.

Organisers of special dining events often engage the services of trusted Stationery printers to create elegant Invitations and RSVPs for their honoured guests.

The menu begins with Cock-a-Leekie soup served with a buttered roll followed by haggis in a whisky sauce accompanied by turnips and potatoes. For dessert, there is raspberry cranachan trifle, and afterwards, shortbread will be served alongside coffee. There will also be a paid bar operating throughout the course of the evening. Those attending with specific dietary requirements should inform the organisers at the time of booking.

Dining tables at the event have a maximum capacity of eight people.

The Burns Night Supper with the Mayor of Warrington will now be held at Warrington Town Hall on January 23. The event will commence at 6.45 pm and end at 10.30 pm, and the town hall is sited on Sankey Street in Warrington.
