A running event to raise funds for a good cause will return to Warrington in 2026.
Runners in Warrington and residents who like to support charities in need can join an event called the “Warrington Running Festival” this autumn. The single-day occasion is presented by Trek and is being held to help St. Rocco’s Hospice.
The local charity is recognised by its logo of a tower with a heart that symbolises the strength and compassion of Warrington’s community. Not-for-profits and charity organisations often include their official Logo Design on campaign materials that raise awareness about their efforts.
This year the festival will feature a range of races to enter including a half marathon, a five-kilometre run, a 10-kilometre run and a “Juniors Race” for young athletes. As well as the running events, there will be an abundance of activities and entertainment happening on the day for spectators to enjoy. Plenty of food and drink options will also be offered from vendors at the event village.
Event partners for the 2026 edition of the festival include Brooks, Givestar, Watson’s Solicitors, Evolution, and TD Synnex, to name but a few.
RunThrough Events, facilitators of the festival, are also responsible for many esteemed running events including the Cheshire 10k, the London Half Marathon and Run Aintree.
The Warrington Running Festival will now take place in Bank Park in Warrington on Sunday, September 20.
