Gym open day takes place in Warrington
An open day was held at a Warrington gym yesterday to raise money for charity and increase awareness of the gym itself.
As part of the event, the members of PureGym, which is situated in Winwick Quay, could bring along a friend, colleague or family member to make a donation to Cancer Research UK.
Open days like this often require a significant amount of printed collateral to ensure that when visitors arrive, they are suitably informed about what the gym offers. Many gyms produce promotional material using leaflet, poster and banner printing.
Warrington's PureGym open day was organised to communicate the unique PureGym concept, which focuses on the idea of low fees and self-service, with no minimum contract or commitment. PureGym centres are also open 24 hour a day, seven days a week and the staff at the Warwick branch hope that this will attract new members.
The open day also featured a number of fitness challenges that visitors could take part in, including a 100km rowing challenge and an 'aerobathon', which was made up of five separate fitness classes. The 100km challenge was carried out on rowing machines in the gym and was designed for a team of people to help raise funds for PG Row.
PureGym operates a number of gyms and fitness centres throughout the UK and more information about what’s on offer can be found on the official website or by popping down to speak to one of the staff members at a branch.
