A special outdoor tea party is planned at a theatre in Hayes, Hillingdon in June to celebrate times gone by.
The Beck Theatre on Grange Road in Hayes invites guests to enjoy a quintessential afternoon tea while appreciating well-known songs from the 1930s and 1940s. Dubbed ‘The Vintage Tea Party’, those attending the stylish event will be taken on a nostalgic journey back through time on the Theatre’s patio.
The event is presented by Perfect Vintage, a singing duo comprised of Brian and Cherie Shaw who specialise in standards from the wartime era. Together they offer renditions of classics like ‘Puttin’ On the Ritz’ and ‘Doing the Lambeth Walk’ among others, popularised by artists such as Glenn Miller, Fred Astaire and Vera Lynn. Performers promoting their work can sometimes benefit from quality Graphic Design Services to create professional promotional material.
All who come down to the party can sample an English garden tea inspired by the 1940s, designed to match the entertainment. The event will include freshly prepared sandwiches, raisin scones topped with clotted cream and sweet strawberry preserve. An assortment of special afternoon tea cakes and patisseries will also be available.
The Vintage tea Party at the Beck Theatre will be open from 2:30pm to 5pm on Sunday, June 21. Tickets are priced at £20 per person and no advanced booking is required.Get a Free Quote for Graphic Design Services
