Music and comedy scheduled for Hayes venue

A Hayes venue will welcome a show celebrating musicians and comedians from a time gone by this spring.

Fans of vintage comedy and music in Hayes can enjoy an upcoming event taking place at the area’s acclaimed Beck Theatre. Entitled “That’ll Be The Day” after the world-famous Buddy Holly hit, the show is loaded with first-class performances paying tribute to some of the best loved comics and music icons in history.

Directed, written and produced by Trevor Payne, and performed by a gifted ensemble cast, the show has been running since 1986. Touring shows often reach out to experienced poster printing services to create eye-catching one-sheets that showcase the talent involved.

That’ll Be The Day invites audiences to journey back in time to relive the biggest moments in pop culture, rock and roll and comedy from the ‘50s to the ‘80s. It combines clever impersonations and comedy sketches with skilled musicianship to create a vivid and authentic experience for viewers. Describing That’ll Be The Day, Time Out magazine credited it as the best show about rock and roll on the road.

The show will be live on stage at The Beck Theatre on Friday, May 3. The theatre can be found on Grange Road in Hayes, and the performance will begin at 7.30pm and end at 9.30pm.

The show is suitable for audience members aged 12 and over.
