Kids theatre coming to Hayes

A musical theatre production based on a hit children’s television show will be performed in Hayes this summer.

The Beck Theatre in Hayes is set to welcome “In the Night Garden Live” to its stage in July. Adapted from the beloved CBeebies show, the musical production features the main characters from the series in a brand-new adventure that is designed specifically for younger family members.

Local UK theatres presenting new plays and shows often enlist expert banner printing services to create a wide array of signage for advertising purposes.

The summer show will feature Makka Pakka, Upsy Daisy and Igglepiggle, along with their friends and combines innovative projections, skilful puppetry, original music and full-size costumes.

Aimed at pre-schoolers between the ages one to six, In the Night Garden was created by Andre Davenport and produced by Anne Wood. Creator, writer and composer of both the incidental music and title theme, Davenport also worked with Wood on an earlier success for the BBC, Teletubbies. The popular show ran for 100 episodes and was narrated by actor Derek Jacobi. It featured a mixture of actors wearing costumes, stop-motion animation, CGI and puppets.

In The Night Garden Live will be on stage at the Beck Theatre on Wednesday, July 12; the show will start at 1pm and end at 2pm. The theatre is situated on Grange Road in Hayes.
