A business based in Hayes has been selected by an Indian corporation to provide auditing services.
Essar Energy, the subsidiary company of Indian multinational construction giant Essar Group, has enlisted aid from the Hayes accounting services firm PBG Associates. The small firm based on Delamere Road is currently staffed by a team of three chartered accountants.
Handling the company’s oil business here in the UK, Essar Energy carries a similar Logo Design to the multinational, boasting the same bold typeface and coloured cross. Through Essar Oil UK, the subsidiary company operates the Stanlow Refinery, with a workforce comprising 900 people. The facility situated near Liverpool is presently responsible for supplying one in every six litres of fuel utilised on UK roads.
Like many enterprises and organisations operating across the country, Essar Energy has faced financial challenges amidst the pandemic, experiencing a sharp drop in demand for its products. However, it recently commented that with lockdown easing, increased need for fuel was likely to strengthen its position financially over the coming months.
PBG associates were selected to sign off the company’s most recent accounts and financial statements for the tax year ending in March 2020. According to Essar Energy’s comments published on Companies House, the Hayes accountancy firm was selected as it had an experienced team based here in the UK and in India.
