Those seeking employment from Hayes and other towns in the borough of Hillingdon will be keen to attend the Hillingdon Job Fair later this month.
The event is organised and held by Brunel University and invites all those seeking vacancies from casual, part time and full time hours to those pursuing graduate placements to attend.
Brunel received its University status by royal charter in the 1960s and is named after the Victorian engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The university has always understood the connection between practical skills and their placement in the workforce. As a public research university, it is primarily focused on advanced technology and the education of engineers.
The poster for Brunel’s Job Fair traditionally features the logos of prospective employers attending. Those present historically range from local companies like The Hillingdon Hospital Charity to the international renowned, such as DHL and Hertz.
Exhibitors at events such as this often spend time before meeting with the public preparing documentation to hand out, and often use brochure printing services to do this.
The fair will be held between 12pm and 3pm on Monday 18th February in the Newton Room at the Hamilton Centre. This is located right in the centre of student life at the university and is also home to its student union.
The event is usually attended by around 500 students.
