Hillingdon house prices grow rapidly

Average house prices within the borough of Hillingdon have jumped by almost a fifth during the last year.

The recent performance of the local housing market in Hillingdon has been strong compared with the rest of the picture in England. Only the fast price rises in Slough in Berkshire and those in Thurrock in Essex have exceeded those in Hillingdon. House prices within Slough and Thurrock are significantly lower than they are in Hillingdon, so this may have had an influence on the fluctuations of average prices.

Houses within Hillingdon are fetching an average price of nearly £400,000. The popularity of houses in this part of London may increase demand for Brochures from professional brochure printers in Hayes.

During the month of February alone, prices increased by almost 1.5 per cent. Within Wales and England, the yearly increase in average house prices was just over 6 per cent and the average value of a property was under £200,000.

The average price for a house within Hillingdon has now nudged over the £390,000 mark. In adjacent Hounslow, the average house price is just under £410,000.

However, the market has come off the boil slightly in Hounslow during February, with the statistics showing an average fall of 0.5% in a month. Meanwhile, average house prices in Harrow and Brent are still considerably higher than they are within Hillingdon.
