A special duathlon designed for all members of the family is happening in Hayes, Hillingdon next month.
The spring event will be held in Hayes on the Hillingdon Cycle Circuit, located at Minet Park. The first weekend race for the new season, the outdoor competition that combines both running and cycling has proved popular in the past. From race entrants to family and friends offering staunch support, all are invited to come down and enjoy the afternoon.
Organisers of outdoor races can employ professional banner printing services to craft colourful signage for the day of the event.
The race site has been specifically chosen for optimum safety on race day. The park-based cycle circuit presents a secure environment that is free from traffic to avoid risk to participants. Races will consist of varying distances suited to different ages and skill levels and are split into three sections. The first leg of the duathlon involves running followed by the cycling stage, finally an additional running race closes the contest.
Tristar races will be provided for a wide range of age categories from adults down to the eight and under group, as well as specific races for boys and girls aged between 11 and 12.
The Spring Family Duathlon, hosted by the Hillingdon Triathletes, will take place on Sunday, March 22.
