Hayes to welcome Welsh comedian

A comic from Wales will soon be bringing his brand-new show to a Hayes audience.

Those looking to start the new year with a laugh in Hayes will be able to see Rhod Gilbert live on stage in January.

For two consecutive nights, the Welsh funny man will perform his latest show, entitled “Rhod Gilbert and the Giant Grapefruit”, at the Beck Theatre.

From clubs and theatres to pubs and hotels, those hosting comedy nights and stars of the stand-up scene often look to professional Print shops for high-quality promotional materials like Flyers and Posters.

Gilbert’s new show has already been well received by critics. The Times called it “darkly hilarious” while the Telegraph hailed it a “hilarious tour-de-force”, and Time Out describe him as one of the world’s best comedians.

A well-known comic on radio and television, Gilbert has presented the BBC2 show Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and performed on the Royal Variety Performance while maintaining a weekly show for BBC Radio Wales.

His all-new show follows other stand-up successes that include “The Book of John”, “Rhod Gilbert and the Cat That Looked Like Nicholas Lyndhurst” and “The Award-Winning Mince Pie”.

Rhod Gilbert and the Giant Grapefruit will now be at the Beck Theatre on January 23 and January 24. The theatre is based on Grange Road in Hayes, Hillingdon.
