Hayes to welcome country pop

An English musical duo known for their unique style if country pop is coming to Hayes this winter to play a live show at one of its longest-standing venues.

Known as the UK’s first ever country music stars, Ward Thomas are set to perform in concert at the Beck Theatre. February will find the duo gracing the stage of the revered Hayes venue which first opened its doors in 1977. Venerable events venues often enlist the expertise of professional printing services to create high-quality plaques bearing the date they were founded.

Comprised of twin siblings, Lizzy and Catherine Ward Thomas, the band hail from Hampshire. Their second album in the studio entitled “Cartwheels” has achieved gold status in Britain but also earned the accolade of being the first ever British country album to hit number one in the UK Albums chart.

The upcoming show in Hayes is part of the Ward Thomas World Tour 2025 and will let fans hear songs from the sisters which may include tracks such as “Push for the Stride”, “When it’s not me”, “Guilty Flowers”, “Town Called Ugley” and “Where the Sky Is”, to name but a few.

Ward Thomas will now be at the Beck Theatre on Thursday, February 13. The gig will begin at 7.30 pm and the theatre is easy to find on Grange Road in Hayes.
