Hayes to host TV funnyman

A well-known television comedian is set to perform live in Hayes this Autumn.

Fans of humour in Hayes won’t want to miss an upcoming event taking place at the Beck Theatre. Renowned for presenting plays, live music and screening films, the Hillingdon venue is also a celebrated site on the stand-up circuit.

This October, the Beck Theatre is welcoming TV comedian and stand-up star Romesh Ranganathan to its stage with his new show entitled “The Warm Ups”. Venues advertising upcoming comedy shows often reach out to experienced flyer printing services to create colourful leaflets designed for promotional purposes.

A popular face on UK television, Ranganathan is recognised for his self-depreciating and deadpan comedy style. The Sri Lankan-British comic is famous for his appearances on a wide range of programmes, including “A League of Their Own”, “Play to the Whistle”, “The Apprentice: You're Fired!”, “Mock the Week” and “The Weakest Link”. He has also starred in his own shows like The Ranganation, Judge Romesh, and The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan.

Before launching a career in comedy, the Crawley-born comic taught maths and performed under the stage name Ranga as a freestyle rap star.

Romesh Ranganathan will now perform his set at The Beck Theatre on Friday, October 20. The theatre is located on Grange Road in Hayes, and the show will start at 8pm.
