Fundraising quiz to take place near Hayes

A quiz is scheduled to be held near Hayes to raise money for a community transport initiative.

Harrow Community Transport (HCT) is behind the big night. The event will take place on May 11th and the member’s lounge at the Harrow Civic Centre should witness a lively evening. Poster printing from Hayes can be used to brighten up special occasions of various types.

HCT is all about keeping people moving as this can really limit social isolation. Mobility issues can be addressed if the resources are available. Individuals with care needs can benefit a lot from the provision of minibus services.

HCT is also involved in the delivery of outings. Trips can make a positive difference to the quality of life to people who cannot necessarily travel on an independent basis. They provide everyone concerned with the opportunity to make more friends.

At the Civic Centre, a buffet shall be provided to quiz participants. The idea is that everyone who takes part in the event will have a great deal of fun. People will be made welcome when the doors are opened at seven o’clock.

Amrat Patel is an employee at the HCT team. During the course of 2017, she raised over £700 towards the funding of the charitable organisation. This result was obtained because she was sponsored to have her head shaved.
