Evening duathlon event to be held in Hayes

The Hillingdon Triathletes will compete in an evening duathlon, the fourth race of the club calendar for 2019.

Competitors entering the three stage race will face challenges of both running and cycling and a chance to practice their switch-over skills in two transitions. The duathlon will commence with a one mile run followed by a 10 mile cycle and finally another two miles of running to complete the evening event.

The club’s fourth race will take place within the Minet Country Park on Springfield Road in Hayes on a purpose-built bike track. The traffic free course’s start and finish line are both located just outside the Triathletes’ clubhouse.

Clubs advertising events can use flyer printing services to promote them to the public and encourage a high turn-out.

The Hillingdon Triathletes is a triathlon club based in West London. Its members hail from Hertfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire among other places in the region. The club started in 1986 and includes members of all abilities from beginners to world champions of ages spanning between 14 and over 60 years of age.

The fourth race of the Hillingdon Triathletes will be held at 7:30pm on the evening of Monday, August 5. The race is open to all entrants over the age of 16 for a fee of £15 or £18 depending on club affiliation.
