Home schooling addressed by Staffordshire teachers

Educators have commented on the home study provisions in Staffordshire.

Head teacher at Bird’s Bush Primary School, Sharon Barnes, noted that while pupils have been forced to study at home in line with government safety guidelines, local families have been cooperative and supportive. Speaking to InYourArea.co.uk, she added that children had embraced the remote style of learning, but like many other teachers in the area, she was looking forwards to staff and students back onsite at the school on Monday, March 8th, as per governmental guidelines.

Many Faculty members at schools based in Tamworth have announced they are excited about the imminent return of students who have been home during the recent lockdown. Head teacher at the Longwood Primary School in Tamworth’s Mile Oak, Pauline James, commented:

“We are extremely excited to be welcoming all the pupils back into school. Our online learning provision has been warmly welcomed and a marvellous success, but it does not replace physically being present.”

Both primary and secondary schools can rely on professional printing services to create plush prospectuses that outline activities, facilities, and their curriculum to parents new to the area.

At the Coton Green Primary School, head teacher Richard Osborne commented that he was proud of the way pupils had recently engaged and adapted to home learning. The primary school on Kipling Rise has also offered a provision for children of key workers to study onsite.
