Tamworth venue to present soul sounds

A British soul music group that started in the ‘70s will be playing live at a Tamworth venue this spring.

Those who enjoy classic soul music in Tamworth will soon get their chance to see UK legends The Real Thing live on stage. March will find the band on stage at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms featuring a line-up that includes original vocalists Dave Smith and Chris Amoo.

Local venues around the UK often seek out help from flyer printing services who can design and produce attractive adverts that entice members of the public to purchase tickets for shows.

The upcoming show will be part of a promotional tour that will see The Real Thing showcase songs from their latest album. Named “A Brand New Day”, the recording is the group’s first album in 44 years, and has already enjoyed the number three spot in Amazon Music’s best sellers chart.

The band’s recent single “Hang On Never Let Go” has enjoyed considerable airplay on the radio, and has been released with a live version of their hit single, “Children of the Ghetto”.

The Real Thing will be on stage at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms on Saturday, March 23. The venue is located on Cooperation Street in Tamworth, and the show will start at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the concert are priced at £29.50 per person.
