A concert featuring a community band will take place at a local church as part of the Christmas festivities in Tamworth this year.
Residents of Tamworth looking for uplifting music to welcome in the festive season can attend an event arriving this autumn. Titled “A Christmas Celebration”, the evening concert will showcase the skills of the Tamworth Wind Band who will perform a blend of festive favourites plus a variety of popular perennial pieces.
Local bands performing at events often order crystal clear Copies of sheet music from professional Print shops for their members to follow.
Promising a warm atmosphere, the event aims to offer guests the perfect start to the season of giving. Beyond the concert, the band will also be performing carols live at various venues across town over winter, including the grounds of Tamworth Castle.
A community concert band, the Tamworth Wind Band is based in Staffordshire and offers an open invitation to brass, percussion and woodwind players of every age. Established by local musicians in 2012, the band is led by Tom Sears, Musical Director, and are known for performing a mix of music ranging from classical and contemporary to popular TV and film soundtracks.
The Christmas Celebration will now run at St Paul’s Church on Saturday, November 28. The concert will commence at 7 pm and the church is situated in Fazeley, Tamworth.
