A number of small businesses throughout the Stockport area will be in the running for prizes later this year, as the annual Stockport Business Awards take place again.
The 2022 edition of these awards will have a total of 13 different categories, and 32 companies based in the town have made it onto the shortlist across them. The Stockport Business Awards were created by Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants and the category sponsors for this year’s event will once again include corporate software firm Sage UK.
That company is set to serve as the sponsor for the ‘Taste of Stockport’ category. This particular award is open to local businesses such as restaurants, cafes and takeaways.
In addition to the possibility of being honoured at awards nights such as this one, small businesses within the town are also able to benefit from helpful Stockport outlets like ones that provide business card printing.
Companies that have been lined up as Headline Sponsors for the awards this year include the likes of musicMagpie and Gorvins Solicitors. Among the sponsors for the individual awards categories are Stockport Economic Alliance, Creative Support, The Business Growth Hub, Mayfield Floors, Pioneer Group and Marketing Stockport.
The venue for the awards night will be Stockport County F.C.’s Edgeley Park and it will be a black-tie event. The Stockport Business Awards will take place on October 6th.
