A multi-day event dedicated to beer and cider is bound for Stockport this summer.
Fans of real ale, cider and perry in Stockport will be in their element this June. Back by popular demand the Stockport Beer and Cider Festival is making a welcome return to the city just in time for British summertime. This year the event has multiple sponsors including JD Wetherspoon, Bridgehouse Brewery, Big Trip Brewery, Sheppy’s Cider Farm, Magic Dragon Brewing and the Wily Fox Brewery, among many others.
Breweries sponsoring drinks festivals and fairs often order low-cost Promotional Products like beer mats and glasses stamped with their trademarks for use at events.
Those attending can hire a refundable glass for £4 to use at festival sessions and obtain tokens for drinks which come on £10 sheets. Any unspent tokens can be donated to the festival charity or refunded.
Beer enthusiasts can enjoy premium bitters, porters, stouts, mild, old and strong ales, and a small selection of speciality real ales. The event organisers have also rounded up an eclectic mix of musical talent to cover all three days of the event allowing festival guest to fill their ears while emptying their glasses.
The Stockport Beer and Cider Festival will be held at the Stockport Guildhall and starts on Thursday, June 19 and runs until Saturday, June 21. The venue is based at 169-171 Wellington Road South in Stockport.
