A housing developer has submitted Plans to Stockport Council that could potentially lead to more than 100 much needed new homes being created at a site within the town.
Kirkland Developments is hoping to build this new project on brownfield land near London Road, Stockport. The plan is for two blocks of flats to be constructed to provide a total of 109 homes. Each of these blocks would be five storeys high and the flats would be a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, with 36 of the latter and 73 of the former.
The project would also involve creating green space covering 15,000 sq ft that would provide a walkway and an area for residents of the blocks to sit outside. Brochure printing from shops in Stockport can help housing developers let people see what the finished developments will look like once completed.
Other amenities that feature in the Plans that Kirkland Developments has sent to the council include parking spaces for both bicycles and cars, as well as charging stations for electric vehicles. More than 20% of the flats could be affordable homes if the necessary financing for this is received.
The architect responsible for designing the project is Nicol Thomas. If permission is granted, buildings currently on the site would be knocked down. That includes offices and a vehicle depot.Get a Free Quote for Plans
