Print Companies in Cheadle

Cheadle is part of the Stockport Metropolitan Borough in Greater Manchester. A suburban town, Cheadle's historical location was in the county of Cheshire and many people still refer to it as Cheadle, Cheshire today. With a relatively small population, the town lies next to Manchester's East Didsbury, and, perhaps confusingly, Cheadle Hulme and Cheadle Heath in Stockport. It is thought that the Cheadle area was first inhabited in prehistoric times and there is also evidence of a Roman occupation. The name Cheadle is thought to have been derived from "Cedde", a Celtic word that means “wood".

During the Industrial Revolution, Cheadle increased in size and was regularly visited by merchants travelling to Manchester. Today, it is a thriving town with a number of businesses, including printing companies. The presence of Print companies is useful, because it means that Cheadle firms have easy access to services such as banner printing, poster printing and catalogue printing. One household name with headquarters in Cheadle is the sportswear manufacturer Umbro. Smaller firms could try to emulate Umbro's success by ordering marketing materials from a local printing company.

A conservation area in the centre of Cheadle contains numerous charming nineteenth-century houses, and a seventeenth-century Stuart mansion known as Moseley Old Hall is located in a secluded part of town. St. Mary's Church, on the High Street, dates from the reign of Henry VIII, although an earlier church is known to have stood at the same spot in the 12th century.

Visitors to Cheadle can shop in a mixture of independent boutiques and well-known high street stores, including John Lewis, and find refreshment in one of the town's cafes. Retailers in Cheadle can attract more customers with POS printing, flyer printing and postcard printing from an established Print company in the area.
