Camden date fixed for indie-folk rocker
The singer/songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov is currently touring, with a date set for Camden at the end of November.
This South African-born musician now resides in Colorado, but as a frequent traveller, his songs tell tales that span miles, and conjure up images of distinctive landscapes. They are particularly influenced by the music of Leonard Cohen and Bruce Springsteen.
Gregory has produced six studio albums, including 'The Gambler', 'The Sea' and 'The Weatherman'. Indeed, 'Evening Machines' was nominated in 2018 for a Grammy Award for Best Folk Album, and his latest record 'Appaloosa Bones' came out in August of this year.
He regularly tours around the world with his own band, and has conducted performances with the US national orchestras. He combines this with running his own record label, aptly named Suitcase Town Music.
A committed horticulturalist when not touring, Gregory manages Starling Farm, a smallholding in Boulder County. It serves to provide produce for Community Food Share, the local food bank, among others.
'No Depression' has said of him,
The standard ticket costs £29.50. Print shops can be useful for those engaged in the promotion of concerts and theatrical events.
Gregory Alan Isokov's gig has a start time of 7.00pm on Saturday 25th November. This can be found at The Roundhouse, Camden.
