The Business Growth Committee of the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Business by Design seminar series this October.
The title of the series is ‘ABCs of Business’ and through five separate seminars, professionals will teach business owners the secrets of running a successful venture. The workshops will take place every Thursday morning from 7:30am - 9:00am, and coffee and muffins will be provided.
The first one, on October 2nd, will be presented by Brent Banda and will discuss marketing and how to attract the right people to work for you. Next, on October 9th, Jolene Watson will be talking about engaging your employees to work hard for you. On October 16th, Gavin Preston is set to discuss corporate financing. Ron Morris will be talking about professional speaking on October 23rd. The last seminar is presented by Sean Makahanuk and will cover break-even analysis.
It's likely that the individual instructors will be handing out printed materials to their students. Saskatoon Stationery printers are often called upon to help provide such items.
The Business by Design series will take place at the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce office from October 2nd to 30th.
