Saskatoon winter retreat to connect people with nature

Residents of Saskatoon who want to unplug from the stress of life may want to secure their spot on a retreat that will help them enjoy the peace and solitude of nature.

An outdoor retreat that will be held in Gabriel Dumont Park will celebrate and strengthen the connection between people and the natural world. The participants can choose from five different workshops that will each focus on a different aspect of nature, and the registration fee for each is $25.

The schedule of one-hour sessions will run throughout a single day, and the event will kick off at 10:00am. Yoga, snowshoeing, walking and drumming will all be paired with different methods of focusing and relieving stress, and the final workshop will wrap up at 5:30pm. It is a joint presentation of the Balanced Living Holistic Care and Back2Nature Wellness and Events.

This type of function can offer many benefits to the local community, and Print shops will be able to supply a variety of materials to help take care of the business side of the activity, such as sign-up Forms.

The Joy of Winter Wellness Retreat is set to take place on February 27th. The venue can be found at 715 Saskatchewan Crescent West. For those who would like more information, the organizers can be called directly.
