Saskatoon shoppers who have left their gift buying to the last minute will not have to worry, as a local pop-up market is set to come to the rescue.
The Kith and Kin Holiday Market will be a two-day shopping party hosted at Prairieland Park. At least 140 vendors from all across the county will be setting up shop, and as it will be held next door to the city’s Glow Festival, the patrons can include both in their weekend plans.
Members of the public who choose to stop by the festivities will be able to show some love and support to the small businesses in attendance, and they can also visit and have their picture taken with Santa. The venue is accessible to those who require a mobility device, such as a rollator or wheelchair, and parking will be free for everyone. The atmosphere for the occasion will be festive and friendly.
Pop-up markets are a common sight in many Canadian communities during the holiday season. Locally based Print shops will be pleased to lend a hand to businesses taking part by providing printed materials for such events.
The Kith and Kin Holiday Market will take place on both Saturday, December 16th and Sunday, December 17th. Admission is $45.00, and those aged 12 and under may enter for free.
