A well-designed flower arrangement can bring life to a room, and Saskatoon residents who enjoy working with floral materials and are considering starting their own business may want to check out an upcoming local workshop.
A condensed version of Florists Supply’s Fundamentals of Floral Design Course is currently accepting registrations, and it will run for two days. Everyone who takes part will gain hands-on experience, and it can be a good way for newbies to flower arranging, and even seasoned professionals, to learn something new.
The registrants will learn the basics of colour theory and design. Tips for pricing and mark ups will be presented to the students, and at the end of the workshop, the attendees will have new tools they can use to run a successful floral business.
Whether it is for fun or profit, many people appreciate the chance to learn something new, and a class like this gives them a way to do so. Handouts, certificates of completion and an assortment of other materials can be prepared by Stationery printers.
Saskatoon’s Florists Supply will begin its Bloom Basis course on September 23rd, and it will wrap up the next day. The final date to reserve a space is August 21st. Registration is $699 plus tax, with lunch, snacks and floral materials to be provided.
