An August evening can be the perfect time to attend an outdoor market, and downtown Saskatoon will be giving locals and visitors alike an opportunity to do so.
The schedule of Broadway Block Parties will give everyone the chance to get their shop on in a casual setting, and the fun will take place on Broadway Avenue, along the stretch that runs between 10th and 12th Streets. There are three dates planned, and each will be open for three hours.
The plans for the gatherings include a pop-up-style night market, and live music and street performances will have everyone smiling. Many of the shops will have sidewalk sales on offer, and food samples will be the order of the day. There will be exhibits of art and other cultural experiences, and all ages are welcome.
To help make the initiative a success, the organizers have output a call for both volunteers and additional vendors.
A night market or other outdoor event can be a fun experience for sellers and shoppers alike. Vendors that contact a local poster printing company will be able to order everything from booth decor to price lists.
The Broadway Block Parties will be popping up on Thursday evenings on August 14th, 21st and 28th. They will each open at 7:00 pm and draw to a close at 10:00 pm.
