Saskatoon will soon be treated to a taste of the East Coast thanks to an event planned by the Rotary Club of Saskatoon Meewasin.
The community service organization will be serving up boiled lobsters hot from the pot. Those who would like to enjoy the meal have two different dates to choose from, and real lobster lovers may even decide to enjoy both meals. The function will be held in the Gordie Howe Sports Centre, and the proceeds will support an assortment of local projects.
Only 250 tickets will be sold for each sitting, and there will be two different options to choose from. Seafood fans can enjoy the lobster, while the meat lovers will be served a full rack of baby back pork ribs. Both choices include a selection of sides, as well as dessert.
Along with the food and a chance to enjoy some time with friends, the function will offer an even split draw and a silent auction. Many businesses that choose to support a fundraiser like this donate Corporate Gifts to use for live or silent auctions and prize draws.
The Rotary Club of Saskatoon Meewasin presents LobsterFest 2022 will be held on June 9th and 10th. Tickets are available now, and their price is $90. Tax receipts will be issued for a portion of this price.
