Saskatoon quilting party to welcome local crafters

A quilting bee used to give people an opportunity to socialize while they sewed, and an event that will take a page from this tradition will be on offer for Saskatoon crafters.

The Barn Playhouse will be hosting a fall quilting party, which will replace the one originally scheduled for the spring. Tickets for the three-day weekend are $175, and it promises to be a gathering that those who enjoy working with needles and fabric will enjoy.

The registration fee for the activity includes a variety of perks. Each ticket holder will receive two breakfasts as well as two suppers and three lunches. They will have access to both irons and ironing boards, and there will also be cutting tables set up. The hall will be open to quilters starting in the early morning, and it is expected that the creative energy will be flowing freely.

A recreational weekend like this can give crafters a venue where they can work on projects, meet other makers and share tips and advice. A flyer printing company will be able to supply a variety of ways of promoting such functions.

The spring Quilting Retreat has been rescheduled to September 18th-20th. It will be held at the Barn Playhouse, and anyone who purchase tickets for the May event will be able to redeem their tickets for this autumn session.
