Saskatoon prostate cancer to celebrate its seventh year

Saskatoon’s community of prostate cancer survivors and their supporters will be joining doctors, healthcare professionals, and the general public net month.

A morning of learning has been planned to arm them with information they can use to make informed choices about living with this disease.

Three specialists in the field of prostate cancer will be taking to the podium to address the crowd during the ‘Prostate Cancer: Survive and Thrive’ symposium, which is on offer, free of charge. This will be followed by an expert’s panel and question and answer session, and both a light breakfast and other refreshments will be provided.

The doors of the symposium will open to the registrants at 7:30 am, and the participants are welcome to enjoy some socializing over their breakfast. An assortment of exhibitors will have displays to browse through, and many will be handing out Brochures and other Promotional Products.

This event is scheduled to be held in Saskatoon in the Delta Hotels by Marriott Downtown. Parking may be available, and the cost of this is the responsibility of those who choose to use it. Continuing education credits may be available for any family physicians that take part in the morning.

This opportunity for those with an interest in prostate cancer to come together to learn, connect and share with one another will be held on November 2. The organizers noted that they greatly appreciate the support of their sponsors.
