Spring has officially arrived. So have Saskatoon's many seasonal migrating birds, several of which provide a rare treat to hear and see for birding enthusiasts and nature lovers of all ages. On May 14th, the Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation (LSWR) Charity will be offering a Mother's Day Afternoon Group Escorted Tour special of their "Signs of Spring Birding Tour".
Tour guide Stan Shadick, past president of Nature Saskatchewan and co-editor of "Birds of the Saskatoon Area", will lead guests on a 3-hour leisurely drive along scenic country roads outside of urban Saskatoon, to see some of the recent feathered arrivals who have begun nesting in the region.
Perfect for those with restricted mobility or families, the tour is done in your own vehicle in comfort. It is suggested that guests bring appropriate clothing for weather and ensure they have a full tank of gas. If they do not own binoculars, LSWR offers them on loan for the tour. Often, businesses make extra effort to ensure that a client's experience is pleasant, such as using Promotional Products to add a personal touch that will not be soon forgotten.
The Mother's Day Tour is 1:30 to 4:30pm, Sunday, 14 May, $75 per person or $190 per vehicle of 3 or more persons. For more information on fees, other available tour dates and times, call 306-652-5975.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products Get a Free Quote for Signs
