Saskatoon boasts a thriving farmers’ market that offers a variety of shopping options throughout the year, and it will be kicking off its summer schedule this June.
The market offers a venue where the public can shop from and support local agricultural operations, crafters, small-scale food preparers and other makers. It will be open throughout the week, and to make it as accessible to as many as possible, it will take place in different venues throughout the city.
This fresh food market also provides the community with various services, and its organizers have put out a call to Saskatoon’s corporate side seeking sponsors for an upcoming project. It is hoping to install a commercial kitchen, and the Logo Design of the companies that participate will be added to the function’s local business wall and will be publicly recognized in other ways as well.
Businesses that would like to lend a hand but cannot give a monetary contribution can still make a difference. Gifts in kind and other donations will be gladly accepted, and anyone with questions about this is asked to call the organizers.
The Saskatoon Community Farmers’ Market will be getting its summer season up and running on June 21st. Details about the various locations it will be on offer, as well as more information, can be found on its website.
