Saskatoon families invited to explore big rigs

Whether they see them on the road or working at a construction site, many kids are fascinated by big rigs and emergency vehicles. A selection of these pieces of equipment will be rolling in to Saskatoon for a special family event this summer.

Construction vehicles, police cars, ambulances and fire trucks will all be included in Trucktastic, and along with these vehicles, their operators will be on hand as well. Kids can explore many of the vehicles on display, and while they do, they will be helping families in their community.

This event, which will be held in Prairieland Park, will run throughout the day, and families are welcome to arrive at any time. Tickets can be purchased at the gate, and they start at $10 each. A special family package granting entry for two adults and as many as four kids are also available, which can help to make attending the function more affordable.

A printing services company will be able to prepare a variety of Signs and Banners that can be used during this type of function. These can provide information about the different vehicles, including how and where they are used.

This opportunity for families to get to know more about the equipment that is used every day in their community will be held on August 22nd. The proceeds will benefit Family Service Saskatoon.
