Fall is harvest time, and in Saskatoon, that means it is time for a visit to a city venue to pick a pumpkin from its onsite patch.
The Black Fox Pumpkin Festival will be bringing autumn-themed fun to the city, and it will take place on three weekends in September. Admission will be charged by the vehicle.
The event will see the Black Fox Farm fields filled with bright orange members of the gourd family for the celebration. Each of the attendees will be able to choose their own pumpkin, and they will be priced by size. Pumpkins will be offered on a drop-in basis, but there are also ticketed activities such as pumpkin rolls and tosses, an obstacle course and wagon rides that have been planned too. The younger guests can try out the grain bin treasure dig and tiny tyke basketball. An assortment of food on offer for purchase.
As early fall weather tends to be pleasant, many functions that take place during the season are held outdoors. A banner printing company can craft decor and other materials that withstand being exposed to the elements and may be used over and over.
The team at Black Fox Farm and Distillery will be hosting its Pumpkin Festival on selected dates in September. Its website includes a list of these as well as other details.
