This fall, Saskatoon will be playing host to an event that will be all about supporting people’s search for a healthy mind, body and spirit. Held at the German Cultural Centre, it will be open to all, and it promises to be a whole lot of fun.
This is the fourth year for the Nourish Your Soul Expo, and it will be focused on health and wellness of the whole mind and body. There will be displays set up that cover topics ranging from alternative healthcare to fashion, cooking, and many other topics, and many presentations are also on the agenda.
The public that attends the celebration can watch a cake pop demo, go through their poses in a yoga session, and there will be special displays and activities for the kids in the crowd as well. Many vendors will be participating, and the organizer noted that there were excited to announce that there will be surprise additions to the event’s schedule over to upcoming weeks.
To help maximize the positive impact the celebration may have on the city, each guest has been asked to bring along a donation of five nonperishable food items for the food bank. Those who do will be given $5 at the gate, which they can choose to either donate to a collection for the STARS Air Ambulance or keep for themselves. October 20 has been set as the date for the celebration, and it will run from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Admission starts at $8.
