The Saskatoon Rotary Club undertakes a variety of community service projects, and one of its upcoming activities will give a tip of the hat to first responders while raising money to benefit local kids.
The club will once again be welcoming the public for its Rotary Badge Shield Star Dinner, and it will offer a tribute to the city’s fire and police services, along with members of Medavie Health Services West, which provides ambulance services to the community. The evening will open with a cocktail reception, and after this, the guests will take their seat for the dinner.
While the assembled guests enjoy their meal, they will be treated to remarks from Saskatchewan’s Lieutenant Governor. They will also be introduced to the recipients of this year’s Citizen Awards, and these individuals will be recognized for their service to the community.
The proceeds from the evening will be used to support initiatives undertaken by the Restorative Action Program, which is being run in high schools throughout the province. Programs, Banners, table cards and other printed items often add the final touch to a fundraising dinner like this, and these can all be sourced from a local printing services company.
Tickets for the Rotary Badge Shield Dinner are available now, and it will take place at Prairieland Park on April 15th. Everyone who plans on attending is advised to consult its online listing to get the latest details about the occasion.
