Saskatoon community to celebrate Halloween

This year, the Halloween season will bring more than just the usual ghosts and goblins to a Saskatoon neighbourhood, and everyone is welcome to attend the festivities in person.

The Trick or Treat Family Day that has been organized by Bernie Funk, and it promises to be full of fun that the whole family can enjoy. The planners have put out a call seeking volunteers and additional vendors, and anyone who would like to lend a hand can contact the host via phone.

The celebration, which will be open to the public throughout the afternoon and early evening, will give kids an opportunity to show off their costume and go shelling out for candy and other treats that will be distributed. The adults can browse through the assortment of vendor tables and booths, meeting area makers and artisans. Face painting, a costume contest and other activities are all in the works as well.
