Saskatoon community service club to host special celebration

Sakatoon’s Optimist Club is a big believer in building a strong community, and one of the ways it encourages this is by hosting its annual Canada Day celebration.

This event, which begins at 8am and runs throughout the day, will offer fun that been planned with every member of the family in mind. The agenda is filled with displays, activities and giveaways, and the grand finale will be the fireworks show, which will be presented by NUTRIEN.

On the day, residents can sit down and enjoy a big pancake breakfast at 8am. After this, the official ceremonies will start, and they will kick off with a cake cutting. Various entertainers and cultural displays will be on the main stage. Kids can get a new look at the face painting stations, and a display by the Canadian Forces is also on the agenda. Furthermore, the young and the young at heart can go for a spin on the amusement rides.

A community centred event like this can really bring the city together. A banner printing company will be able to create a huge banner that welcomes one and all to a celebration such as this.

Sakatoon’s Optimist Club will be hosting this birthday party for Canada on July 1st. Diefenbaker Park will be the venue for the day.
