The holiday season can be a time for giving back, and this is the spirit behind a celebration that will take place in Saskatoon this December.
A group of costumed characters will serve as the hosts for the annual Snack’n with Santa event, and it will raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Saskatchewan. This not-for-profit group helps provide accommodations for families with a child receiving treatment at a hospital in Saskatoon.
The guests at the event will be able to meet Frozen’s Elsa, Olaf and Anna in person, and Santa will be in attendance as well. There will be games, including mini hockey, and face painting will be offered too, as well as pictures with the ‘Big Guy in Red’. The menu includes hot dogs, chicken strips and French fries, and a dessert of holiday cookies will round out the buffet-style meal. Tickets for the function are priced at $35.00 each.
A holiday fundraiser may benefit from themed décor to add to the festivities, and banner printing services will be available at a local Print shop. It can craft both reusable and single-use styles.
The Snack’n with Santa fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities Saskatchewan will begin at 11:00 am on Sunday, December 3rd. It will be held at TCU Place, which can be found at 22 Street East.
