Seeing bright orange pumpkins in the farmer’s fields around Saskatoon is a sure sign that fall has arrived, and a local distillery has planned a celebration that will greet the season in style.
Black Fox Farm and Distillery will be welcoming September with what’s being billed as its largest event of the year. There will be 15,000 pumpkins on hand so that everyone can choose their favourite to take home with them, and this is just the start of what will be on offer.
The whole family can enjoy the festivities, and straw bale mazes and climbing structures will give the kids in the crowd an opportunity to get active. Pumpkin rolling, wagon rides, games, and pony rides will also all be on the agenda. Food will be available, and there will be photo ops for attendees.
The admission price for this family-friendly activity is $10 per vehicle, and tickets for pumpkins, food and games can be purchased on site.
