Saskatchewan farmers invited to attend crop symposium

Saskatoon will be hosting a crop symposium for Saskatchewan farmers in February and it will focus on plant health.

This event will look at crop health from many perspectives, and will take changing climate, regulations and other dynamic factors into consideration. It will include presentations by a variety of subject matter experts, and it can give farmers a way to be sure their operation is well prepared for the future.

A variety of industry stakeholders will be on hand for the symposium, and the delegates are encouraged to come armed with whatever questions they might have. It is scheduled to last for two days, and will include details about subjects such as pest control, changing climate and the shifting regulatory landscape that governs the industry. The fee to participate starts at $120, and it will be held at TCU Place.

For vendors, taking part in this sort of activity can offer a lot of benefits. It can give them a venue to show off their latest products and services, and if they arrive armed with plenty of Business Cards, they will be able to quickly share their contact details and create new connections.

The 2020 Plant Health Summit will be welcoming the province’s agricultural community on February 25th and 26th. Tickets are available for purchase now for the event.
