Popular Saskatoon fundraiser to benefit companion animals in need

Home town generosity is the spirit behind a Saskatoon fundraiser that will bring care and compassion to homeless dogs, cats, and other companion animals that are looking for a home to call their own.

Pets in the Park will soon be back for another year, and it will offer activities the whole family - including its four-legged or feathery members – can enjoy. The organizers noted that this will be an “on leash” event, and the fun is set to start as early as 8:00 am.

The early birds in the crowd are invited to get their day off to a tasty start by taking a seat for the pancake breakfast, and after this, the activities will begin. Saskatoon Police Services will offer a display of the skills of its K-9 units, and there will also be demonstrations of both obedience and fly ball. Several local musicians will supply the entertainment, and a silent auction, pet portraits, a microchippping station, nail trims and other services will all be available.

A selection of vendors that offer pet related services and products will be setting up shop for the occasion, and the attendees will be welcome to browse through their table displays. A business card printing company can supply these businesses with top quality Promotional Products that can help them to make the most from participating in an event like this.

This year’s Pets in the Park fundraiser, which will benefit local animal welfare organizations, will be held on July 14. It will be taking place in Kiwanis Memorial Park North.
