The Reflections of Nature show and sale is taking place over two days in Saskatoon next month, with members of the public being encouraged to attend.
As part of the event, the Saskatchewan Wildlife Art Association is holding its 23rd annual art competition. More than 500 works are expected to be entered in several categories, such as carving, sculpture, painting, and photography, with using the theme of nature and wildlife. The judging will take place at an opening reception and the awards will be presented on the last day of the show.
There will be plenty of activities for the public to enjoy at the show, including wildlife displays, free seminars, artist demonstrations, and auctions. Vendors will be selling such items as carving tools and instruction manuals. Guests should walk away from the show with a true appreciation of animal-inspired art and may be encouraged to take part in the next show themselves.
Organizers have no doubt invested in services from Saskatoon Print companies to ensure the public will be aware it is taking place; this might include flyer or brochure printing.
The Reflections of Nature Show and Sale is being held at Saskatoon Prairieland Exhibition Park from October 25-27. The opening reception will be held on October 25, beginning at 7:45pm, with tickets costing $15. The Reflection banquet is taking place on October 26 and tickets are $25.
