Music conference offers the chance to improves instrument skills

The Saskatchewan Music Conference is taking place for three days this November in Saskatoon.

It is presented by five different organizations, including the Saskatchewan Band Association and the Saskatchewan Music Educators Association.

There will be over 40 different sessions taking place that will be led by experts in their field. Topics will be concert band, jazz band, and choral. These will be offering participants practice, and might even teach them something new. There are also set to be social networking events, a luncheon, and an awards banquet. Various associations will also be on hand to provide information on their programs and services, such as the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils.

Additionally, there will be commercial exhibitors, like those who provide instrument repair or education.

The keynote speaker for the event is Tom Allen. The awards banquet will consist of a reception, dinner, and awards presentations.

Many of the exhibitors participating in this Saskatoon conference may invest in services like sign and banner printing, to improve the look of their booth and to attract more visitors.

The Saskatchewan Music Conference will be held at the Saskatoon Inn Hotel and Conference Center from November 13th to 15th. Fees range in price from $60 up to $245. The awards banquet will take place on November 14th beginning at 6:00pm; tickets are $45 each. Call 306-783-2263 for more information.
