The Jeans and Jewels Gala is taking place in Saskatoon this April. It is a fundraising event for the Children's Hospital Foundation and is also celebrating the fact that building of the hospital is set to begin this year.
The event is part of the Children's Hospital of Saskatchewan's capital campaign; last year's gala raised over $200,000 for the Foundation. Construction of the hospital is expected to last until the end of 2016, with the hospital set to open in 2017.
Guests will enjoy a champagne reception, a sit down dinner and musical entertainment from Brad Johner and the Johner Boys. They will also be able to bid on live as well as silent auctions. The event’s emcees are radio personalities Rod Kitter, Steve Chisolm and Cristy Beggs. Information will also be provided on the current state of the campaign and the much anticipated children's hospital.
Saskatoon printing companies are often asked to help advertise fundraising galas such as this. This may include providing tickets, Invitations, and Flyers – items that are inexpensive to product but go a long way in encouraging people to attend.
The 2014 Jeans and Jewels Gala will be held at TCU place on April 11th, beginning at 5:30pm. Tickets are $225 or $1800 for a table of eight.
