The Saskatoon Blitz! is taking place for two days this June in Saskatoon. It is a convention dedicated to comics, animation, and science fiction.
There will be many special guest actors, writers and artists taking part in this year's convention. Some of those who are confirmed to appear include David Vincent, Jad Saxon, Curtis Anderson, and Chuck Haber.
There are set to be many different activities taking place over the two-day event, including discussion panels, a games room, autograph sessions, and meet and greets.
A cosplay (costume) contest will award such titles as ‘best dressed’, ‘best skit’, and ‘best-dressed group’. There will also be film and television screenings, a games tournament, and a masquerade dance.
A popular draw at the convention will no doubt be the vendor's room and artists alley. Visitors will have the chance to buy items such as photographs, DVDs, action figures, and comic Books.

The Saskatoon Blitz! will be held at Prairieland Park from June 13 to 14.
