The 2013 Canadian Sponsorship Forum is being held in Saskatoon for three days this May. It will coincide with the CHL Mastercard Memorial Cup hockey tournament.
The theme of this year's forum is ‘Building Community’. It is for those in the marketing and sponsorship industry who are looking for ways to get more involved in their community and to make more impact.
Those who attend will learn about the latest trends and research in sponsorship. They will also have the opportunity to listen to expert guest speakers, attend educational workshops, take part in roundtables and panel discussions and get to attend several social networking events. One of the keynote speakers of the event will be Kathy Henderson of the Pan/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee.
Networking events will include the semi-finals and finals of the Memorial Cup, happy hours, a dinner reception and tickets to the Potash Fan Fest, which features musical entertainment. Since there will be so many networking opportunities in Saskatoon during the forum, many who are planning to attend will likely be placing a new business card printing order in advance.
