The Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce’s Business Growth Committee is presenting “Shaken with a Twist” on January 19 from 5-7 pm. The event will take place at Tusq Restaurant and will feature free drinks, appetizers and the chance to win door prizes.
The event is being touted as a way to “support, celebrate and connect” with inspiring women from the community. The special guest will be Brenda Wasylow, the VP of Finance for JNE Welding.
“Shaken with a Twist” will be the perfect opportunity for women in Saskatoon, whether business leaders, charity volunteers or just average working women, to meet and to network with one another. Women sometimes face unique challenges in business and as the saying goes, “there is always strength in numbers.” Those who are interested in starting their own business, or in making sure their current business becomes a success, will be very interested in what Ms. Wasylow has to say as a woman in business.
Those attending will also have the chance to place literature about their businesses or charity organizations on showcase information tables.
